Another Great Week of Real Estate - Feb 17, 2024
The highlights of the week were:
First, shout out to my AMAZING AirBnB cleaner! Last week, my garage door setting reset after a power outage, effectively locking us out. Unfortunately, my cleaner locked her key inside the garage, but then she took ownership of the situation! She coordinated the locksmith and garage repair person, met them at the property, and made extra copies of the key.
Tip: Pay your team for everything! If my cleaner swings by my AirBnB for anything, I pay at least $25. It's not a huge amount, but it shows I value her time and energy!
Second, we just listed our loft! Multiple mess ups on my end dropped this project from an 18% return to an 11% but I'm still happy with the outcome!
Tip: Spend the money on professional photos. They are always worth it and it doesn't make sense to spend tens of thousands of dollars on a rehab and then skimp on the pictures.
Lastly, I started underwriting photo studios. It is a space that can be automated and generate good passive income! I'll keep you posted!
