Our first Great Week of Real Estate for 2024!
Loft Work Complete: Our contractor just "finished" work on our RV garage to ADU conversion. It took us about a month to get through our final punch list. Our next steps are getting the unit cleaned, professional pictures, and then we should be ready to list!
The photos below are from my real estate agent’s walkthrough once the contractor said he was done. You’ll notice multiple deficiencies that, unfortunately, are taking us a while to fix. This is an important reason to have a holdback so the contractor has a reason fix these various issues.
Tax Documents: The key to taxes is staying organized. Each year, I create an excel list to keep track of all the various documents I need to send my CPA. The most difficult document is the P&L but if you are diligently bookkeeping throughout the year, this should be easy!
