Another Great Week of Real Estate - March 30, 2024
Rooftop Revamp:
Outdoor furniture is very expensive and Washington's rainy winters take a toll on most furniture.
We decided to build most of our rooftop furniture to save money and make something that will last.
We are building two planters, a wrap-around bench, two hammock chairs and an AC unit cover.
EMMY TIP: Once wicker furniture starts to crack/break, its over. We also like furniture that doesn't need cushions so we have less to worry about.
Downstairs Bedroom: This was our big focus for the week. We painted, replaced the sofabed with a trundle bed, and we still need to install some new art!
EMMY TIP: If you can, try and reduce the number of bed types (king, queen, twin, etc.). It'll make life easier on your cleaner and you can interchange linens easily.
Restocking: We restocked our guest amenities, cleaning room, and linen room and updated a few art pieces.
EMMY TIP: Items will casually migrate into your AirBnB (things guests left, random guide books, etc.). We like to have pictures of everything so our cleaning staff can look at a room and know what's out of place.
