Another Great Week of Real Estate - April 6, 2024
This week we were all over the place:
Investor Update: We completed the first draft of the investor update for the first quarter. We changed the style and flow of the update to provide information investors actually care about. It's very easy to geek out and dive too deep into areas irrelevant to investors.

EMMY TIP: If you are new to working with investors, we are going to launch an investor relations management service this quarter!
Leasing: We have two upcoming vacancies that we are looking to fill. One tenant vacated overnight due to a family emergency and getting that property ready to remote lease is taking a little longer than expected. The other property doesn't come vacant for another 30 days but I think we have a tenant already!
We use:
Zillow for leasing
Apartments.com for rent collection and maintenance
Google Voice as our tenant contact number
EMMY TIP: If a tenant or applicant seems off during the application process, it will not get better once they move in.
Alki Redecorating: The rooftop is coming along! We got the current furniture removed, the turf partially installed, and a lot of the new furniture upstairs. We still have a lot of interior work before we are ready for pictures but we are happy with the progress!
EMMY TIP: Owning an AirBnB is like going to West Point. I don't regret doing it, but you couldn't pay me to do it again.
